| UCanBloom is dedicated to providing information to those who have experienced relationship concerns, violence, or trauma in their lives. "When I was a small child, my mother shared with me how she loved a particular flower, the crocus. She pointed to a small flower, poking its head through the snow, and told me it was a crocus. She told me that a crocus can bloom no matter how adverse the conditions, whether through snow or rocks. My mother told me that I, too, could be like that crocus. No matter what I faced in my life, I could bloom. My mother told me, 'A crocus can bloom in the most adverse conditions, so too can you!' Little did I realize how important that conversation would become to me later in life. I experienced the devastation of domestic violence and stalking. However, I remembered my mother's words and chose to bloom in the most adverse circumstances. So can you!" Donna Hurst |
